Bluntisham Books, 2003.

Reprint of the 1962 edition. 8vo. pp. vi, 44; map, 2 illusts.; original cloth, d.j., new.

Shackleton’s Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914-17, aboard the Endurance, relied on a second party in the Ross Sea to lay storage depots for the intended crossing. Only two accounts of this party were ever published by participants, Joyce’s South Polar Trail and the present work. This is a reprint of the original 1962 edition, published as Scott Polar Research Institute Special Publication Number 2.
