Edward Adrian Wilson took part in both of Scott’s Antarctic expeditions. His skill as an artist allowed him to record his experiences of the Antarctic environment and its wildlife in ways not explored so extensively before, and the present volume reproduces many of Wilson’s illustrations, many not published before. Issued to mark the centenary of Wilson’s death, this book forms a companion to Edward Wilson’s Nature Notebooks, the same authors’ previous publication.
